Angela Griffin will join the cast of Breeders, which runs at London’s St James Theatre this autumn.
She will star alongside the previously announced Nicholas Burns, Tamzin Outhwaite and Jemima Rooper in the production of Ben Ockrent’s new play.
Griffin’s theatre credits include One Man, Two Guvnors at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, but she is best known to television audiences for her roles in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Mount Pleasant.
Breeders will run from September 3 to October 4, with press night on September 8, and will be directed by Tamara Harvey.
It is being produced by Vicky Graham as part of Stage One’s One Stage season, which supports emerging producers.
