Jemima Rooper, Sandra Dickinson and Simon Jones cast in Blithe Sprit

Jemima Rooper, Sandra Dickinson and Simon Jones are to appear in Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit at the Gielgud Theatre in London this spring.

Rooper, who is best known for her TV work including The Famous Five, Dickinson and Jones will join already announced cast members Angela Lansbury, Janie Dee and Charles Edwards.

Patsy Ferran will also appear in the show, making her professional stage debut.

Directed by Michael Blakemore, Blithe Spirit will run from March 1 to June 7, 2014. It is designed by Simon Higlett, with lighting by Mark Jonathan.

Blithe Spirit is produced in the West End by Lee Dean, Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, John Frost, Steve Traxler and Charles Diamond.
