The Sherman Theatre in Cardiff has announced its 2018 season, which includes Brad Birch’s new play Tremor.
Directed by Rachel O’Riordan and featuring design by Hayley Grindle, Tremor explores the effects of tension on people’s everyday lives.
The season will also include the regional premiere of The Motherf**ker with the Hat by Stephen Adly Giurgis, which was performed in 2015 at the National Theatre in London, and is directed by Andy Arnold. It is a co-production with Glasgow’s Tron theatre.
Conor McPherson’s Dublin Carol, directed by Matthew Xia will also show at the theatre next year.
Terra Firma will be performed by the National Dance Company of Wales and a Welsh language adaptation of Florian Zeller’s The Father, produced by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, will also run as part of the season.
Visiting productions include Liz Clarke’s Cannonballista, the Wardrobe Theatre Ensemble’s Education, Education, Education and Torch Theatre Company’s Grav.
