Curve leader Chris Stafford and PR guru Mark Borkowski are among the panellists slated to appear at this year’s Future of Theatre conference, in association with Moore Kingston Smith.
The Stage’s April 30 symposium, held at @sohoplace, will combine discussions on artistic freedom with ones on financial precarity, in an event themed around the topic of survival.
Leicester’s Curve chief executive Stafford is to appear on a panel titled Surviving the Financial Cliff: Great Ideas for Financing Theatre in a Time of Scarcity, alongside the likes of Really Good Exposure writer/performer Megan Prescott.
Other offerings including Surviving the Sh**storm: What Theatremakers Can Learn About Crisis Management, featuring talking heads such as publicist expert Borkowski and chief executive of Go Live Theatre Projects, Sita McIntosh.

Index on Censorship will be represented by chief executive Jemimah Steinfeld in a panel on free speech, while Graeme Farrow, chief creative and content officer of Wales Millennium Centre, is one of the pundits tabled for How Does the Craft of Theatremaking Survive?.
The programme builds on previously announced speeches by director designate of the National Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, and Trafalgar Entertainment boss, Rosemary Squire.
The event’s activities kick off from 9:30am, with a stacked timetable running up until 4:30pm.
The Stage deputy editor Matthew Hemley said: "Programming this year’s conference with Amanda Parker has been a privilege and we hope that we’ve pulled together a schedule that delves into some of the most pressing issues facing the industry today, discussed by some of the most interesting voices working in theatre."
"We’re also delighted to have Rosemary Squire and Indhu Rubasingham bookending the event with keynote speeches," Hemley continued, "both of which promise to be fascinating and insightful. We hope to welcome you to the event and to meet as many of you as we can on the 30th."
Headlined by Moore Kingston Smith, the conference is sponsored by LAMDA, Preevue, Theatreplan and BECTU, with supporters including Charcoalblue, John Good and StaffSavvy.
