Mean Girls will end its run in the West End on June 8 ahead of a UK tour next year.
The musical comedy, based on the 2004 film by Tina Fey, is to conclude its time at the Savoy Theatre just over a year after opening on June 5, 2024.
But the production will head off on a tour of the country in 2026, with further details and casting to be announced at a later date.
Mean Girls has so far played to more than 350,000 people in its central London home.
It will have its final access performance, a matinee show conducted with British Sign Language, on May 10.
Current performers include Charlie Burn as protagonist Cady Heron and Georgina Castle as high school queen Regina George.
The musical, created by Fey and produced in London by Lorne Michaels, Sonia Friedman Productions, and David Ian for Crossroads Live, made its world premiere in 2017 at the National Theatre in Washington D.C.
It enjoyed a Broadway stint at New York’s August Wilson Theatre in 2018 before heading off on a tour of the US the following year.
Its West End creative team includes book writer Fey, composer Jeff Richmond, lyricist Nell Benjamin and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw.
Scenic design is by Scott Park, with costume by Katrina Lindsay, lighting by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Brian Ronan, and video design by Finn Ross and Adam Young.
