Touring symposium launched for 2014

Theatre organisations including Paines Plough, the Royal Exchange in Manchester and the Independent Theatre Council are to host a new independent touring symposium next year.

The event, which happens in January at the Royal Exchange, will see small scale touring companies come together to discuss how to secure their long-term future.

New touring models and approaches to booking will be discussed at the symposium, along with issues around data and audiences and how organisations can work in partnership.

A full line up of speakers including industry leaders, practitioners and journalists will be announced shortly.

Booking for the event , which will take place from 11am to 5pm on January 30, is now open.
