Chicago to tour UK in 2021

Chicago will return for a nationwide tour next year, producers have confirmed.

The Kander and Ebb musical has set a start date of March 12, 2021, where it plans to open at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre.

It will then play to theatres across the UK until November 2021, with further dates expected beyond that.

Locations include Liverpool, Sunderland, Woking, Inverness, Southend, Stoke, Hull and Southampton.

Casting has not yet been announced for the musical, which is produced by David Ian in association with Barry and Fran Weissler.

The production is based on the 1996 Broadway revival, which was choreographed by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse and directed by Walter Bobbie.
