Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire’s Trafalgar Entertainment Group is opening new headquarters in Woking, as part of a move that will bring it under the same roof as Stagecoach Performing Arts.
Panter and Squire previously ran Ambassador Theatre Group from the town and said its plans for Trafalgar felt like a “homecoming”.
When Trafalgar Entertainment opened in 2017, it operated from Trafalgar Studios in London, before opening offices on the Strand and in West Byfleet.
The West Byfleet office will now close, with Trafalgar Entertainment keeping its presence on the Strand alongside its operation in Woking.
Squire, who is executive chair and joint chief executive of TEG, said: “When we started our new business in 2017, with so many new colleagues also based in Surrey, we always knew we’d love to have a presence in Woking again. Now of course, we’ve been able to bring our colleagues from Stagecoach Performing Arts along with us, which is a really exciting development and it feels like a homecoming for us all.”
TEG acquired Stagecoach last year. The theatre-school franchise has now relocated from Walton-on-Thames to the shared Trafalgar Entertainment office in Woking. TEG said the move would brings “new employment prospects with plans for a call centre and new jobs already being recruited”.
