Shakespeare at the Castle

A two-week experience with a week of filming. Actors and filmmakers will join forces to film scenes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth that will be cut into a new contemporary retelling of the play, shot in the atmospheric setting of Dean Castle.
This intensive offering will equip you with an expansive toolkit of skills learned through a fast-paced collaborative filmmaking process. As well as working with our experienced Shakespeare director Alastair Hunter you will also work with a voice coach, dramatic combat instructor and movement specialist to bring your characters to life and craft them specifically for screen.
