Teaching Qualifications

During the teaching qualification course, students learn how to work with varying abilities, age groups and personalities. You will discover how to plan and deliver a taught programme for a specific learner or group of learners in a given setting and reflect upon its effectiveness.

The qualification is of particular value to those working with individuals and small groups in after school clubs, studios, young people’s theatre and colleges. Its assessment standards are comparable to those of other qualifications available at Level 4 in the Qualifications and Credit Framework or to the first year of degree-level study, and includes both practical and written units of work.

Students finish the teaching courses feeling they have the confidence, experience and knowledge to fully prepare class plans and individual schemes of work.

Qualification: ATCL Diploma through Trinity College London

Course held at PPA for 2 hours each week.
