Playing the Globe Theatre: 3 Day Course

Explore the performance potential of the iconic, open-air Globe Theatre and what it teaches the actor about Shakespeare’s texts in this intensive three-day course.

Led by a member of our expert faculty, you’ll work alongside other actors and use rehearsal tools, games and exercises to explore the potential of the wooden ‘O’ as a performance space.

This intensive course will involve acting, voice, movement, and text sessions, with time split between the Globe stage itself and one of our purpose-built studios. Please note that due to working in a live theatre, some stage sessions may be required to run with set in place from our current productions.

This course is suitable for those who are new to working with Shakespeare and for those who have had lots of previous experience and will provide a safe and supportive space to explore, play and connect creatively.
