Chekov Workshop with Di Trevis

This five day workshop will focus on the plays of Chekhov as a starting point for actors to explore text, character, period, the power and limits of Stanislavski technique , discovering an acting approach that focuses “not just on realism but truth “. We will work towards scene studies and scenarios which will be shown on the final day to a small invited audience .
 
‘* Intensive exercises, dance and research, with some partner work outside of workshop hours , envisaged.

Intermediate and advanced level; actors and actresses must have at least 4–6 years of practical experience or a combination of drama school and real-world experience.
