This five day workshop will focus on the plays of Chekhov as a starting point for actors to explore text, character, period, the power and limits of Stanislavski technique , discovering an acting approach that focuses “not just on realism but truth “. We will work towards scene studies and scenarios which will be shown on the final day to a small invited audience .
