BA (Hons) Musical Theatre

Our BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree will equip you with the skills and experiences required to build a career in the musical theatre industry.  
 
In addition to receiving comprehensive training in acting, singing and dance, we will help you discover and develop your unique artistic voice, empowering you to create your own performance work.  
 
Throughout the course, you’ll be guided by working industry professionals who have first-hand industry knowledge and insight into what it takes to be successful.  
 
You will also collaborate with and learn from: 
 
•    leading musical theatre directors 
•    writers
•    musical directors
•    agents
•    casting directors. 
 
You will showcase your talents in events including: 
   

•    full-scale musicals 
•    fringe theatre 
•    tours of schools 
•    concerts 
•    cabarets. 

 
You will be prepared for life as a working performer with insights into auditions, self-management, representation and business skills, as well as receiving guidance on essential promotional materials such as headshots, CVs and showreels. Equity and Spotlight recognise the course. 
 
Our aim is for you to graduate with the skills and confidence to enter the industry as a well-rounded and versatile performer with the experience and confidence to create your own career opportunities. 
 
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain the Licentiate of the London College of Music (LCME), earning two qualifications through this course and opening employment opportunities in education.
