Making theatre with young people is so much more than child’s play

Amid swingeing cuts to youth services and the marginalisation of the arts in schools, youth theatre has become a crucial force for young people, their communities and the industry, but the people who lead it need better financial and other support to do what is some of the most complex work you can do in theatre, says Ned Glasier
