Joe McElderry to return to Joseph for 2017 tour

Joe McElderry is to return to play the lead role in a 2017 tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Former X Factor winner McElderry played the role in the 2016 production and will return to the musical as it kicks off a new tour, opening at G Live in Guildford on January 24.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical will then tour locations including Portsmouth, Edinburgh, Bradford, Nottingham, Cardiff and Londonderry, where it is scheduled to end on June 3.

The production is directed by Kenwright, with choreography by Henry Metcalfe, design by Sean Cavanagh, lighting by Nick Richings and sound by Dan Samson.

It is produced by Kenwright by special arrangement with the Really Useful Group.
