Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley will star in a new production of Cabaret, it has been confirmed.
The show will be staged in a “bespoke home”, with a capacity of 550, which director Rebecca Frecknall said would see a “bold new production” created. Details of where the Kit Kat Club will be have yet to be disclosed.
Kander and Ebb’s musical, opening in November, will star Redmayne as The Emcee and Buckley as Sally Bowles. Further casting is to be announced.
The show has set and costume design by Tom Scutt, with choreography by Julia Cheng. Musical supervision and direction is by Jennifer Whyte, with lighting by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster.
The casting director is Stuart Burt and the associate director is Jordan Fein.

Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club is produced by Ambassador Theatre Group Productions and Underbelly.
