Deborah Findlay and Samuel Barnett have been cast in the world premiere of Alan Bennett’s Allelujah! at the Bridge Theatre in London.
Other casting includes Sacha Dhawan, Peter Forbes, Jeff Rawle, Julia Foster, Sue Wallace and Gwen Taylor.
Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the production runs at the Bridge Theatre from July 11 to September 28.
The cast also includes Sam Bond, Jacqueline Chan, Jacqueline Clarke, Rosie Ede, Patricia England, Manish Gandhi, Colin Haigh, Richard Hart, Nadine Higgin and Nicola Hughes.
They are joined by Anna Lindup, Louis Mahoney, David Moorst, Cleo Sylvestre, Simon Williams, Duncan Wisbey and Gary Wood.
It has also been announced that Arlene Phillips will do the choreography for Allelujah!, which is designed by Bob Crowley with lighting by Natasha Chivers and music by George Fenton.
Allelujah! will be the 10th collaboration between Bennett and Hytner, who first worked together on Bennett’s adaptation of The Wind in the Willows for the National Theatre in 1990.
