Broadway play Oslo to transfer to London

Broadway production Oslo will premiere in Europe at the National Theatre in London.

The new play by JT Rogers will run at the Lyttelton Theatre from September 5 to 23, with press night on September 12.

It will then transfer to the West End and run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from October.

Oslo is directed by Bartlett Sher, with set design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Donald Holder and sound design by Peter John Still and Marc Salzberg. Projections are by 59 Productions.

The National Theatre has also announced a staged reading of All the President’s Men? – Scenes from the US Senate’s Confirmation Hearings, edited and directed by Nicolas Kent.

Elsewhere, Jane Eyre will return to the National Theatre, following a UK tour.

The production, directed by Sally Cookson, will open on September 26 and run until October 21.

Cast includes Hannah Bristow, Matthew Churcher, Nadia Clifford and Ben Cutler.

The National Theatre has also announced Queer Festival, a series of LBGT+ events, including readings directed by Stephen Daldry, Tarell Alvin McCraney and Polly Stenham.
