Dirty Dancing is to replace Viva Forever! at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End.
The musical previously played in London at the Aldwych Theatre from 2006 until 2011 and has since been touring the UK.
It will finish touring in June at the Manchester Opera House, before coming to the Piccadilly Theatre from July 13.
A new UK tour will be launched in March next year.
The musical is produced by Karl Sydow and Amber Jacobsen.
Sydow said: “We’re delighted to bring the much-loved and iconic Dirty Dancing back to London in an all-new, exciting production that has thrilled audiences around the country.”
