The Theatre Coach – Manchester & Online
With over twenty-three years of experience working with young performers at schools such as the Sylvia Young Theatre School and ArtsEd and on productions such as Billy Elliot and School of Rock (both in the West End), Alan, known as ‘the theatre coach’, has coached hundreds of young performers for stage, screen and college auditions, and mentored them and their parents/carers through all aspects of their careers.
In the West End, clients have played roles such as Matilda (Matilda), Young Elsa (Frozen), Gavroche (Les Mis), Les (Newsies) and Summer Hathaway (School of Rock) as well as appearing in other London productions and tours such as The Book Thief, Joseph, The Sound of Music, Elf, Annie, Identical, Little Miss Sunshine and Bonnie & Clyde.

Alan works online with clients from around the world through 1:1 lessons and three online memberships:
MONTHLY MENTORSHIP: Meets on the first Monday of each month 5:45pm-6:50pm.

TAPE CLUB: Meets on the first Tuesday of every month 5:45pm-6:45pm.

YOUNG PERFORMER PRO: Meets on the first Monday of each month 7pm-8pm and/or the first Tuesday of each month 6:50pm-7:50pm.
· Downloadable advice and technique videos,
· Ask unlimited industry-related questions via Voxer (all questions answered within 48 hours),
· Improve performance,
· Widen your support network.
ttc:MANCHESTER – at Studio 25
Under the direction of Alan, at ttc:MANCHESTER, individuals have an opportunity to train monthly in Musical Theatre with a unique, holistic approach to instil confidence, solid technique, a healthy performance mindset and recognise individual skills.
This training is for young people aged 9-18 who are serious about a career on stage and is held at Studio 25 in the heart of Manchester on the third Saturday of each month, 10am-3pm.
The programme is designed to enrich and build on any current, weekly classes.
