Rehearsal Room: The Victoria Palace

Delfont Mackintosh Theatres purchased the Victoria Palace Theatre in 2014. On 9 April 2016 the theatre closed for a major 20 month renovation.

The Victoria Palace Theatre, magnificently restored for the 21st century, reopened on 6 December with the European premiere of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s acclaimed, Pulitzer Prize winning Hamilton which sits perfectly in this re-imagined theatre.

The theatre has been redeveloped from renowned theatre architect Frank Matcham’s original design to combine beautiful restoration with twenty first century comfort and facilities, which include a new purpose built rehearsal and audition space that is available for hire.

The bright space is located at the top of the Victoria Palace Theatre, a stone’s throw from Victoria Station and is fully equipped with all essential requirements including a sprung floor and new PA system.
