Prompt Side specialises in the manufacture of bespoke drapery, digitally printed backdrops and flooring for theatre, TV, film and event companies across the UK.

Our knowledge, accumulated over 30 years of collaboration with designers and production managers, alongside our Managing Director's decade of theatrical experience, lends us unrivalled technical expertise - highly valued and appreciated by our customers.

Our clients include the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre amongst many other national and international theatre and opera companies.

Our award-winning dye-sublimation printing provides excellent photo-quality images with vivid colours, with the fabric retaining its soft texture. Seam-less‚Ñ¢ is our method of joining fabric without traditional seams - backcloths are manufactured using a pioneering textile weld - perfect for backlighting.

We print direct to media - such as MDF, plywood and plastics and create “Day to Night” transformations.
