Movement and Viewpoints Masterclass

This April, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School invites you to take part in our programme of intensive short courses, each designed to broaden and sharpen your acting skills. These courses are open to anyone aged 18+ with an interest in acting – you may be starting out in acting and enjoy performing as a hobby, or a seasoned professional seeking to learn new approaches or refresh your knowledge.

Regardless of your background, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School offers a fun and nurturing environment in which to pursue your creative ambitions. The support and feedback available from your tutor and peers will help you develop your natural talents and confidence in acting.

Viewpoints and Composition, Monday 8 April 2024 | £86 | Mixed abilities

This one-day masterclass has been designed for actors, directors, dancers and performers of all disciplines to expand their creative toolkit and deepen their artistic capabilities. Rooted in the ground-breaking work of Mary Overlie, this intensive course will guide you through a practical, embodied exploration of space, shape, time, emotion, movement and story – the fundamental building-blocks of all theatre, performance and live art.
